It’s no lie that the USA is one of the most well known countries in the world, with plenty of natural landscapes and attractions to explore. From the Grand Canyon, to Disney, to New York City; this country has something that will interest everybody.
The Best Time to Visit
This really is a hard one to answer. I would personally say one of the shoulder seasons – Spring (March to May) or Autumn (September to November) – is best because the temperatures are mild and there are fewer tourists.
It also really depends on what type of holiday you want and where you are visiting! If you want to enjoy the warmer weather then head there during Summer but if you want to see a Winter Wonderland then head over in the colder months!
Of course the language spoken in the United States of America is English! However, the US is a melting pot of cultures so plenty people are multilingual; with the most common other language being Spanish.
The USA uses types A and B plugs. The country operates on a 120V supply and 60Hz.
The currency used in the United States is the USD. Everywhere accepts card and there are plenty of ATMs if you need cash.
The US has a reputation for not being incredibly safe because of their gun laws. Whilst we have never felt unsafe over there, please exercise caution if you are concerned.
Many people like to roadtrip around the USA. The highways are long and easy to navigate. You can also take the Amtrack Trains which will take you domestically on a number of routes. If you want to get from the north to south, or east to west coast, then take a domestic flight. American Airlines is a trusty airline for flying domestically.
